Pork Chop Express cargo containers

To celebrate the fact I am actually painting my "Jack Berton" figure I made up some "Pork Chop Express" shipping containers for use in my games.

I have included a sample to show what it looks like, and there are four colours to choose from:

Just click on the links below to get your copy of these cargo containers:

Syntac cargo container

I am getting the hang of making cargo containers now.

This one is for Syntac, a corporation that may or may not be involved in experimenting in the next new thing for the military market.

Again, anyone wanting a copy please contact me and I can send them a PDF.

Biotek cargo container

I had intended to do a bit more for my blog today, like finishing off the batrep, but gale force storms last night caused a lot of damage in my area and the power was out for most of the day.

What I have done is completed my biotek cargo container and here is a image of it:

Unfortunately the scale is 1:53, which is the largest I can create and have it all on the one page when printing.

I had found a great logo to use on the container, but I can't make it transparent and it looked stupid with a large white background.

So, if any one would like a free cargo container at 1:53 scale for their games, please drop me a note/comment with your email address and I will send it to you as soon as I can.

Biotech International - a cargo container

I have been designing a cargo container for a corporation I want to include in my game background.

The corporation is Biotek International, and their motto is "Spicing the world one gene at a time"

I am still trying to come up with a logo to go on the shipping container, but this is what I have done so far.

I will most likely remove the bio hazard symbol and replace it with other symbols around the container.

The text will appear on both sides of the container, with the top and bottom being blank.

Once it has be finished I am happy to share the PDF with others so they can include Biotek in their games as well.

cargo containers - part 2

I spend all of a minute designing my first shipping container - and a bit longer printing it out, gluing it to some card and making it.

Being my first one I have a few finer points to iron out to make them look better, and it helps not splashing Ramem onto the container at lunch time, thus making runny ink spots on the model.

I also dragged some plastic crates out of storage - these will be ideal for a warehouse setting. I have over 10 of these crates, so they will be very handy.

Cargo Containers

Cargo (or shipping) containers will be playing an important part in my games - they are the perfect wall system for defending against zombie hoards.

Not only can they be used as walls, but you can walk on the top of them and zombies can't climb up t get you.

With enough of them you can even create  a small fortress with corridors to channel zombies into a killing zone full of nasty surprises.

I thought of buying some model railway containers, but it would be too expensive for what I want to do.

TMP had some suggestions, but I found something better that those recommendations: Paper Make It have a program that allows you to design your own containers for different scales and then print them out.

You can choose colour, text, and images for your containers, which means you can create an endless number of containers exactly how you want them for your game.

It cost me just under $5 AUD and I will get my moneys' worth out of it.

I purchased it from Wargamers Vault, and any one wanting to take a look at it can find it here: cargo containers

I will post photos of my containers once I make a couple.
